A Burton-based recruitment firm has entered 16 people in a marathon with a difference.

The workers, from CHH Recruitment, in Centrum 100, are currently training for the Hairy Haggis Marathon Relay Race, run alongside the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday May 25, 2008.

The 'Hairy Haggis' Team Relay will run the same 26.2 miles of the Edinburgh Marathon, with teams of four splitting the marathon distance between them.

The longest leg run will be eight miles and the shortest five miles.

Lee Drayton of LD Fitness is lending his personal training expertise to the team and putting them through their paces.

He said: "Training the CHH Recruitment Team is an absolute pleasure.

"Each individual gives me 100 per cent every time they work out.

"They all have the motivation, commitment and enthusiasm to succeed."

Mr Drayton will be supporting the local recruitment firm further by heading one of the CHH teams.

CHH is raising funds for Alzheimer Scotland, Guide Dogs Scotland, British Heart Foundation & Hope Children's Charity.
